Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park is one of the most stunning places you can visit on your Montana vacation. Yellowstone is easily one of the world’s most beautiful parks, with plenty of opportunities for seeing amazing wildlife, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling and snowshoeing.
Bozeman, Billings, Red Lodge, West Yellowstone and Gardiner provide great Montana hotels and lodging, restaurants and other attractions to make your vacation complete.
Yellowstone National Park is well known for its geysers, including the famous Old Faithful, for amazingly colored hot springs, excellent hiking and great wildlife viewing.
As far as wildlife viewing, this may be one of the best places to visit if photographing bear, moose, wolves or bison are on your list. It’s a great place to see them, especially in the winter, on a quiet Yellowstone snowcoach tour.
Rivers both inside and outside the park provide for excellent fly fishing. There are several area guides who can help you get the most out of a fly fishing trip to Yellowstone.
Another popular Yellowstone activity is snowmobiling. It’s a great way to see the vast array of terrain the park offers on your own terms, get a good rush, and still see lots of wild life and natural wonders. Several Yellowstone snowmobile guides offer services to help you get out and enjoy winter in the park.
If you’re traveling here by air, the Billings airport will probably be the most convenient place for you to land. It’s not far from Yellowstone, and has plenty of local hotels and lodging to make you comfortable.

I personally enjoyed my motorcycle journey through Yellowstone. My favorite place so far.
