Folks tend to think of Yellowstone National Park as a place best visited in the summertime, and it certainly is beautiful that time of year. But the winter certainly has its advantages.
For one, you’ll find that there’s a lot less people in Yellowstone National Park during the winter. Oftentimes, this means you’ll have better chances of seeing wildlife, especially wolves and bison, which are also easier to spot in the snow.
A lot of Yellowstone’s natural landmarks, such as old faithful, or the various thermal pools around the park take on a mystical feeling, when they’re steaming in the snow.
