hi, mny wife and i have taken the plunge and decided to move everything to Banff. I understand that you must have proof of work in banff before you can purchase property there. Does anybody know if this is true and is there a contact that can help me get set up there? Much obliged

Hi Michael. you wont be let down by Banff. It is true about the proof of work needed but Canmore is just as nice to live in and much cheaper too so don't stress too much. These guys can help you find the right house to buy or rent for your family:
