actcually Banff and all the national parks are very well run. They were ahead of the pack in the early 90's when it came to preserving the natural beauties of this place. Businesses have really taken upon themselves the responsibility to preserve too. The Fairmon Banff Springs Hotel and Nipika are too of the best with cutting edge technology and systems to cut down on any waste.

I read on this site that there is over 4 million visitors to Banff every year. I have to say considering the natural beauty of the place, i really hope that businesses up there are run in a green way. Can anyone tell me more about this and where would be a good environmentally friendly place to stay?
