The Banff Park Lodge is not your best option for hotels in Banff Alberta Rockies Forum

Banff is literally packed full of great hotels and unfortunately, the Banff Park Lodge is not one of them. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day but I found the service pretty average for the prices I was paying. Although the pool and spa services are excellent, you also need to have a room with some character. The views from the window were nothing to write home about especially considering the beauties that Banff has outside. Also the fact that you have to pay an extra fee for wireless internet access is a bit of a kick in the teeth after handing out more cash. It is not terrible but there is defintely better options to be had.
