Forum : Fire Mountain Lodge is nicer but overpriced

I recently went on a golfing trip with my buddies to the Canadian Rockies. We chose Fire Mountain Lodge because it was nice and close to some of the courses we would be playing. Silvertip, Kanaskis and Stewart Creek golf course are all within walking distance – a great way to rid yourself of a hangover (it was vacation time!) The hotel to be honest was just fine. They were friendly, it was clean and as i said it is central but we were paying almost $250 a night. Combine that with the costs of playing golf and drinking too much and it made for a very expensive holiday. I would do it again though. Maybe next time I will find a cheaper hotel though.
