Canmore's Rocky Mountain Flatbread Company sur charges for "carbon fee" Alberta Rockies Forum

So here I was, dining out with my family in Canmore's Rocky Mountain Flatbreak Company. This Canmore Restaurant serves up tasty pizzza a lot of tasty, fresh food.

It's also the most offensive restaurant I've ever been to. They hit you with a 1 percent "Carbon" environment fee that they tack on to your bill. They claim they are spending this money on various environmental "green" programs. The waitress point blank told me that they are quite proud that they use their restaurant establishment to promote a political cause.

Worse yet she said they would prefer customers not to patronize their restaurant if they disagreed with their 1 percent Carbon fee.

I think the best way to reduce "carbon emissions" (if you believe in this envirowhacko crap) is to simply not drive to this restaurant and not purchase their food.

I like their food. It is really, really expensive. It's almost $10 for a bowl of soup. A regular pizza and beer ran $24. But for a restaurant to impose a sur charge on its customers to endorse a flimsy political agenda is flat out wrong.
