Colorado. Just the name summons up some of the best skiing, hiking, fishing and scenery this continent has to offer. Skiing, is of course king here. Colorado is home to some of the finest ski resorts in the world, such as Vail, Aspen and Steamboat. It's home to many other smaller, lesser known resorts as well, such as Copper Mountain and Arapahoe Basin. These Colorado resorts feature vast terrain, with some of the world's lightest and best powder, and plenty of extreme terrain.
But Colorado is more than just ski resorts. You'll find plenty of rest and relaxation in Colorado's fine hotels and lodges, good food at its restaurants, and world-class entertainment at various venues. Summer brings hiking and backpacking through the Rockies' breathtaking trails in Colorado national parks such as Rocky Mountain National Park, Mesa Verde and Colorado National Monument.
A Colorado vacation wouldn't be complete without taking in some of the charm from its eclectic towns. There's the college/hippie/yuppie town of Boulder, glitzy Aspen, or rough and tumble Gunnison, and of course Denver. Colorado appeals to just about everyone when it comes to vacations. Find everything you know to plan and book your vacation here, or at Colorado Adventure.
