Yamnuska’s ice climbing team includes most of the best climbers, guides and instructors anywhere! Enthusiastic and extremely talented, they hold climbing certification from the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides and from other International Federation of Mountain Guide Association (IFMGA) countries. Ice Climbing Tour by Banff Travel

Banff Travel offers several unforgettable ice climbing tours in Banff, Canmore and Lake Louise. Adventurers will learn how to scale waterfall ice formations with experienced and certified guides and witness some spectacular sights in the Canadian Rockies.

Depending on ability and experience, climbers can choose from several different locations including Grassi Lakes, Haffner Creek, King Creek or Johnston Canyon. Ice climbing tours are offered in half day (three hour) or full day (six hour) packages.

All packages include boots, crampons, harness, ice tools and helmet rentals as well as the guide. Lessons can range in size from individual to groups of 4 of more.
