First off, you can simply drive it – it’s only an hour and a half along Highway 1, the Trans-Canada Highway. If you’re staying in the town of Banff, or anywhere else within the park, you’ll need a national park pass. You can purchase it at the gate for $9 per day per person, or $18 per car with 2-7 people in it.
