Taking a trip to the Canadian Rockies has never been easier. Traditionally you can fly to Calgary or Edmonton to get to the towns of Banff and Jasper respectively but there is another option that not so many people know about. Cranbrook Airport is the International Airport for the Canadian Rockies. Air Canada and more recently Delta Airlines have regular flights from Canada and the USA that drop you right into the heart of the most beautiful mountain range in the world. Any road trip from this airport is an absolute pleasure. Flying to Cranbrook means that your vacation has started as soon as the planes wheels hit the ground.

The airport is located a short distance off Highway 95A, only 15km from Cranbrook and 20km from Kimberley. The towns of Golden, Invermere and Fernie are all within a very short drive and towns like Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper are just a beautiful drive through the mountains away.
