Snow Tubing In Banff, Alberta
Snow Tubing in Banff, Alberta
Banff National Park, Alberta
Skiing and snow boarding on some of the best mountains in the world just isn’t enough for you hey? Well lucky for you, Norquay has provided another option for the adrenalin seeking visitor. Snow Tubing! It’s exactly what it sounds like. You get onto a rubber tube, make your way to the top of a snowy hill and let gravity take care of the rest. Leave the warmth of your resort for a while and hit the mountain for one of the best winter activities on offer.
Mt. Norquay is a great place to start your tubing education. With a snow tube rope tow and three chutes with large lanes, it is the kind of thing you can do with friends after a few beers (I didn’t say that) or with the kids and family. If you are looking for a good team building activity, then there is no better way to try and injure your boss than on the dark shadowy slopes of wintery Norquay.
Price wise it is not going to break the back…I mean bank. For a full day for an adult, it is $24 and only $17 for the younger crowd (aged between 13-17). If you thought tubing on a nice warm winter day was fun, just wait for January 27th when night tubing begins. With glorious snow capped mountains on all sides and friends giggling as they collide down the slope; it will undoubtedly be the highlight of your vacation in Banff and the Rockies.
