Located on the outskirts of town, it is comfortably close enough to town to walk into the main shopping area and where most activities are focused. You just need to make sure you are wrapped up warmly for the walk in winter. Price wise it is an extremely affordable option with prices as low as $88 a night including taxes. There is a great atmosphere in the hotel, not just within the building but with the staff as well. It is always nice to walk into a hotel and feel immediately welcomed rather than being a burden.
Often hotels target a certain market whether it be honeymooners, families or travelers but the Rundlestone really is a great place for anyone. The rooms are clean and the prices tiered to suit anyone’s budget. The pool can be relaxing but also great for the kids to play in and the hot tub overlooking the backyard is a great touch. If you are lucky enough to be heading up to Banff for a vacation, you should definitely consider the Rundlestone as an option.
